花よりポップコーン
むすめと映画を見に行った。むすめの様子を見るたびに、ポップコーンの容器とにらめっこをしていて、塩味に埋もれたキャラメル味を真剣に探していた（仕切りで分けられず、ミックスして提供するスタイルだった）。なんだか、スクリーンを見る時間より、ポップコーンボックスに顔を突っ込んでいる時間が長い。けど、真剣に探している姿がかわいいぞと思いながら、わたしは映画と娘を見るという時間になった。次は、キャラメルだけを買ってあげよう。
I took my daughter to see a movie. Every time I glanced over at her, she was rustling around in our mixed popcorn box, dead serious about finding the caramel pieces buried under the salted ones.It felt like she spent more time with her head stuck in that popcorn box than actually looking at the screen! She was so intensely focused that I ended up spending the movie watching both the screen and her, thinking how adorable she was.Next time, I'll definitely just buy a full box of caramel.
